Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital established in the year 1999, had a very modest beginning with an 8 bedded hospital.  The past two decades have seen the emergence of  Sreedhareeyam as a Group comprising of Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Medicines (Pvt) Limited, Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Research and Development Institute, Sreedhareeyam Eye Clinics and Panchakarma Centre (Pvt) limited and Sreedhareeyam Farms and Foods Ventures (Pvt) Limited as sister concerns of Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Centre Pvt Ltd.

Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Medicines Pvt Limited is a GMP and ISO certified entity catering to Indian and International Markets.  Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Research and Development Institute has been acknowledged and awarded as a centre of Excellence in Ayurvedic Ophthalmology by the ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.  Sreedhareeyam Eye clinics and Panchakarma Centres Pvt Ltd has a network of 23 branches spread across India.  Sreedhareeyam Farms and Foods Ventures Pvt Limited is successfully running multiple food courts, Herbal Nursery, a Dairy Farm and Catering Services along with managing its own auditorium.  Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Centre Pvt Ltd have grown into a 350 bedded NABH Accredited, Green Leaf Certified and ISO 9000:2015 certified hospital catering to thousands of Out Patients and Inpatients every year.  All this recognition and growth in numbers is a tribute to the quality of service rendered by us, level of patient satisfaction acquired by us and trust of all our associates generated over the period of time.

Ayurveda is the perfect choice for those who have a liking for tradition and who strongly believe that Indian Ayurveda is the best form of holistic medicine. Sreedhareeyam has been making continuous efforts to promote this system of medicine not only by providing treatments but also by imparting ayurvedic medical education. Sreedhareeyam College of Ayurveda Medical Science has conducted Government approved courses in Ayurvedic Nursing, Ayurvedic Pharmacy and Ayurveda Therapist (commonly known as Masseur or Panchakarma Technician) from 2007 onwards.  The hospital’s requirement of Paramedical Staff has been met by quality manpower who are trained and tested inhouse.

Sreedhareeyam has been conducting Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs on Shalakya with specialization in Netra Roga to impart theory and practical education to physicians.

In addition to this, the hospital is also providing training under Guru-Shishya Parampara to graduates from RAV and internship training to BAMS Graduates on a regular basis to help them bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical situations.

Various short-term courses in the different disciplines of Ayurveda and Residency for doctors is also available.  All such learning activities are now clubbed under the ambit of the Sreedhareeyam Academy of Learning (SAL).

We also have a Nursing College that offers a certificate course recognized by the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education in the disciplines of Ayurveda Pharmacy and Ayurveda Therapy.

For playing a pioneer role in the development of professional ayurvedic education in Ayurvedic Ophthalmology as well as exploring unique opportunity to mentor the next generation of healers, helping them gain the clinical and research experience they need to become well-rounded, compassionate and successful physicians, Sreedhareeyam is in the process of establishing an Institute exclusively for ayurvedic Ophthalmology with the main objective to share the century-old traditional knowledge gained and practised at our hospital. The institute will strive to advance, innovative teaching methods and research that it can meet the needs of the nation in preparation of medicine and management of diseases through Ayurveda. It also aims to provide superior quality educational programs in Ayurveda with state of art facilities to enhance the research and learning experience and facilitate the training of a skilled workforce to meet the current and future needs of Ayurvedic fields of medical science.
