NABH Certification
Best Ayurveda hospital

Sreedhareeyam has always been committed towards providing safe, high quality medical care to its patients. Setting yet another benchmark in quality healthcare delivery and excellence in patient care, the hospital has received the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers) accreditation with effect from August 03, 2012. Receiving NABH accreditation is a strong validation that we, at Sreedhareeyam, have taken extra steps to meet the highest level of safety and quality care to our patients. Quality Council of India (QCI) and its National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH) have designed an exhaustive healthcare standard for hospitals and healthcare providers, which are divided between patient-centric standards and organization-centric standards and consist of stringent 590 objective elements for the hospital to achieve. NABH is an Institutional Member as well as a Board member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (lSQua), member of the Accreditation Council of International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) and is on board of Asian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ASQua). The NABH accreditation means stringent quality control and standardization of patient services that eventually improve patient care. In a nutshell, NABH aims at streamlining the entire operations of a hospital. The benefits of accreditation are many fold :-

To comply with the NABH accreditation standards, the hospital has established a process-driven approach in all aspects of hospital activities like registration, admission, patient care & safety, discharge, etc.  Not only the clinical aspects but the governance aspects are process driven based on clear and transparent policies and protocols.

Sreedhareeyam was recognized as a Centre of Excellence by AYUSH ministry of Government of India in order to expand the diagnostic capacities of the centre and also to develop scientific lines in Netra Roga (eye diseases) research and development. A documentation centre is established for defining standard treatment protocols and assess the effect of Ayurveda treatment in various eye disorders.

The elevation of Ayurveda as a USP of Kerala Tourism has brought a substantial increase in the ayurveda centres in the State. As a part of efforts to establish highest quality in healthcare centres, the Government of Kerala has introduced a certification procedure of which the highest possible rating is Green Leaf. Sreedhareeyam has received the Green Leaf certification in recognition of its quality assurance at the highest possible standard.

Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research centre is ISO 9001:2008 certified which evaluates on an yearly basis whether our Quality Management System is appropriate and effective, while forcing to identify and implement improvements. Six Sigma Star Healthcare recognize the special efforts and sustained contributions of such individuals and institutions. It has, for the first time in India, instituted Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Awards recognizing the contributions of not only the clinicians but all others associated with healthcare delivery. Considered the “OSCAR OF INDIAN HEALTHCARE”, Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Award for the Best Ayurveda Hospital was won by Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research centre in 2015.

Sreedhareeyam has won the prestigious “Best Ayurveda Hospital” award from AHMA, Kerala in 2009 which was in recognition of its efforts to achieve the highest quality of patient care and also for the relentless efforts to ensure the efficacy rates.

FACT MKK Nayar memorial productivity Award 2013-14 was conferred to Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Centre by Kerala State Productivity Council.
