Every hospital has a responsibility to provide the highest level of care possible for their patients and this, without question, includes the quality and nutritional value of the food that is served and eaten. The Vegetarian food court has been set up looking into the above aspects. The highlights include a more spacious and centrally air-conditioned dining area, modern furniture, fully equipped kitchen, combined stationery stall, etc.
Hygiene and quality are our key considerations, not driving down costs. Our catering team puts sustainability first, meaning we use seasonal, organic and local produce whenever possible. Steam is used for cooking all dishes which avoids overcooking and also the loss of minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
All our meals are made daily on the premises using fresh ingredients, not ready meals. The food court also serves diet regulated food as recommended by the department of dietetics based on the clinical evaluation of the patient. We have taken all care for ensuring that patients have a positive experience during their stay, especially when it comes to their food.
