Vara Vishala Marma Therapy (VVMT) is a Consciousness-based therapeutic approach, which enlivens the inner intelligence located in the Marmas and creates an immediate balancing, rejuvenating, and healing effects in the physiology.
Marma points are subtle, hidden and yet effective control areas for the specific pockets of the intelligence, the mind and the ego. They are also correlated with specific structures of the human physiology, each of which has their own predominance of the combination of the five elements.
Vara Vishala Marma Therapy is based on the profound knowledge and principles of marmas as described in the ancient Ayurveda texts, along with the practical and clinical experience of experts in the traditions of Marma Gyan, Mano Gyan and Mantra Gyan.
VVMT’s sequential approach to health can be used for both self-treatments as well as for the treatment of others and well-being is a boon to therapists and allows one to tap into the hidden intelligence of the junction points (Marmas- junctions, cells- structure value. Or cells and gap) of the body, which are the self-interacting structuring dynamics of the gaps in-between cell. These gaps are the source of all structure of the physiology.
To properly approach Marma therapy, we must understand its background in Ayurvedic medicine, which was the dominant medical paradigm in India and is still widely practised throughout the region as a complete medical system for mind-body balance.
This is a wonderful opportunity to know more about the ancient science of Ayurveda.
